Voting Poll Locations

Glenn Said:

Is it legal to take pictures of people voting?

We Answered:

I would think that the concern is that this could be used as a form of voter intimidation. They're worried that someone is going to stand around taking photos and then harass these people if they don't vote for a certain candidate. I see your point, but this is probably a case that you couldn't win.

Christian Said:

I'm going to be a poll worker this year for the first time, a few questions about my own ability to vote?

We Answered:

I work the polls every election and during a lull I take off my vest and go vote. I have never had a problem with this.
Too bad you are voting for the Terrorist Sympathizer!

Martha Said:

Can you change your polling place (voting)?

We Answered:

Last year I voted on my couch. This time I think I'm going to use my desk, easier to write. Why not go absentee?

Christopher Said:

How are California voting locations selected?

We Answered:

No, that's why most voting places are in Schools or public buildings.

Calvin Said:

Would a long line at your polling location deter you from voting?

We Answered:

I will never give up my right to vote and make my voice heard. I've never missed voting, either primary, presidential or local.

Go Obama!

Francisco Said:

What time will the Voting Polls Locations be open in GEORGIA??? ?

We Answered:

I am from Georgia, too. North Fulton County to be exact.

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on each election day. However, any voter who is waiting in line to vote at 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to vote. Peak voting hours are historically from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 pm, and during the mid-day lunch hour.
