I know, and every day that looms on is another day that we have to wonder where a check is coming from. Im broke and don't have the funds to pay my bills. My car is due for inspection by the end of the month and I doubt if i will be able to pay for that either....

I think you mirrored my thoughts exactly. What exactly will the republicans do if they take control of congress in 2010? More nothing? Because that's all that they've been doing so far.

The Republicans are the party of "No!" and when that is really focused on in the upcoming elections everyone is going to realize that some change is better than no change. The Republicans want to keep the status quo in Washington no matter what they tell you. They get out in their big campaign tours and tell the public exactly what they want to hear then behind the curtain they are massaging the big corporations feet to make sure they're comfortable.

I agree with you being that most Americans have short memories and fail to understand the historical value of our US Constitution; and the checks and balances of the three federal branches of government; or each citizens responsibility. In addition; most Americans are so boggled with just keeping what they have; or chasing the dangling carrot; they are unwilling to question their role as a pawn on the chessboard of Kings, Queens, Knights and Bishops. Casting their existence without thinking, has cause them to believe that their salvation is in the hands of either the Republicans or Democrats; and by doing so leave them opened for the most betrayal plight, that can occur.
