Vote for the person, NOT a 'party'... research each candidate, don't take what any 'party' says as gospel... voting is too serious to allow a 'party' or the media to have my vote... which is exactly what you are doing if you vote party line, or for someone based just on what party they belong to... vote for the PERSON, their character, their past accomplishments, their beliefs... vote for who aligns as closely to you as possible... voting for someone because they have an (R) or a (D) after their name is insanely irresponsible... research each candidate utilizing various sources.. not ones that are biased to one party or one agenda... choosing a candidate is hard work, but well worth it... relying on the DNC or RNC website, or huffpo, or CNN or FOX or any single agenda source is easy... and acting stupidly.
Of course I put a US spin to it, but the theory holds true in ANY Country.

Elderly are not lazy bums. When you are 80, you cant work 40 hrs a week. Do you make enough money to support your family and your parents?

I can see eliminating welfare, but not social security.

This class politics really is so totally out of date. There is no Tory policy about working tax credits other than to reform the administration to reduce fraud. It goes deep to the heart of what Conservatism is about to support families and give children the best start in life.

If you vote Lib Dem, the most probable result is another Labour government as there is such a hard core of Labour voters in the UK who will vote for them whatever happens.

None. Voting for the 'Party' is foolish, at best.
Vote for the person who you agree with most, and only then, after much research from a VARIETY of sources... certain sources lean left, some lean right... allowing one type to sway/form your opinion is like giving the media your vote, to do with as they please.
Vote for the PERSON, NOT the 'party'...
I know too many folks who think because they are a a (D) or an (R), that they only should get info on that parties candidates... or that because they are registered to a party, that they MUST vote for that party's candidates... the only time that may hold true is in Primaries... not in General Elections.
An INFORMED Voter is much more important than a 'Party Line' voter.
