Who Can Vote In The Uk

Crystal Said:

Full time mum to Twins in the UK, who is best party to vote for in this election?

We Answered:

Cameron will only stop child tax credits if you earn over £50,000 a year. Brown keeps saying that this will bring people into poverty, but if you earn over double the average wage, then you don't need child tax credits, and you won't struggle if you don't have them.

As you're not in work, then you're not earning over £50,000 a year, so you're going to continue to keep receiving child tax credits under a conservative government.

Eric Said:

Hi :) Who are you voting for this uk election? or if you can't who would you vote for?

We Answered:

You seem to be living in a parallel universe - I don't recognise any of those descriptions. For one thing, if David Cameron is homophobic, he wouldn't have Alan Duncan in his Shadow Cabinet. Labour isn't liberal at all - they verge on Communist with their enthusiasm for control freakery. I shall be voting Conservative again as they have always made the best British governments. This Labour one has got us into a hole, and I well remember the last one in the 1970s which, if anything, was even worse.
