Who Should I Vote For In The General Election

Reginald Said:

who should i vote for in the uk 2009 general election?

We Answered:

Take the test and find out.

But if you post your views on various topics, you can get more of an answer from us.

The test below asks you questions on your views on various topics, then you can compare where you stand to where the parties stand.

Just one thing though, it is not a general election. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8… We are voting in the European elections, and many areas are also voting for council members, i.e. people to address local issues.

Good luck and use your vote wisely.

Who should I vote for in the upcoming general elections?

We Answered:

Vote with your conscience, don't let other people (including me) tell you how to vote!

If you feel that a third party candidate is the best one, that is the way you should vote.

I am still undecided, between Obama and McCain. I will vote who I think is best and so should you.

BTW. I hate the saying "throwing away a vote"; are not all votes for a losing candidate "thrown away"?

Who on earth should I vote for in the general election?!!!?

Have a read at there manifestoes. Compare them and decide which policies u most agree with. I think there is a quiz on the times website which willl show u which party ur most inline with (but take this with a pinch of salt). I wouldnt worry about the leader so much many people get caught up in whether they like the leader or not. This is not the point of an election. Also dont get caught up in the mentaliyty that some people get where they want to vote for who they think is goin to win i have no idea why people do this.

So look at what they are offering and choose on that. If its a small party still vote for them it doesnt matter that they will never win many small parties would never be able to actually fufil their promises but by voting for them they may gain a few seats which could mean they influence law in the way u want them to.

Judith Said:

Who do you think the Queen would vote for in the general election?

We Answered:

I would like to think UKIP i can't see she really likes the EU dictating to her nation.

Who should I vote for in the UK General Election?

We Answered:

SNP.

Those socialist parties will can only muster a few hundred votes at present as it's too fragmented.

The London Labour Party is in meltdown.

For Scotland there is a choice to have a Scottish voice that is against the rule of Scotland from Westminster. Anyone who believes in Scotland and is sick of the Westminster will vote for the SNP.

(Green is also pro-Scotland and pro-independence but don't currently have the vote following. Only in the Scottish Parliament is a Green vote worthwhile due to the different voting representation, hence they have MSPs with seats)

You are right. They are all as bad as each other.

Labour are on the left, Tories are on the right.

But to get into power both of them move to the centre as they always have done.

Ignore the poster above me, he is just rude.

Vote for yourself. you may as well! Get a piece of paper, put your name on it with a box afterwards, put it on a table, go out of the room ,come in again, put a cross in the box .. and you have won!! It's the only election on today.

Discuss It!
