McCain is more likely to reach across the aisle. He voted along party lines 90% of the time while Obama toed the party line 97% of the time.

McCain is more likely to withdraw troops from Iraq responsibly and do so on an event-base, rather than a timeline, to keep Iraq from falling into the hands of Iran.

McCain wants to DRILL- something that can carry us while we're still using fossil fuels while we develop nuclear, wind, and ethanol flex fuels to cut energy costs by putting U.S. harvested petroleum on the world market, driving down the price. This would decrease and nearly obliterate our dependance on foreign oil.

McCain wants tax cuts for businesses, which make it attractive to stay in the U.S. as opposed to India and China, mitigating outsourcing and the negative effects of free trade.

McCain wants an alternative to socializing healthcare so that it's affordable and doctors/hospitals can turn a profit to self-perpetuate in the spirit of the free market system. When there's a profit at stake, there's competition to increase the quality of care.

This is why I prefer McCain.

Obama is very shrewd and practical. In 1995 he won the primary against an incumbent by challenging her signatures and getting her removed from the ballot. Hillary (at least publicly) underestimates his skill.

I smoked 3 cigarettes trying to think of a good reason to vote for him and I surely thought I could come up with one, however, I was mistaken and wasted 3 cigarettes. Forget it, it's just not in me to campaign for John McCain. That would be like campaigning for George Bush. And there are far too many expletives when I get started on him, so it's best I quit now.

Danton adhered to the popular ideas coming out of the Enlightenment that Republican virtues are fostered and begin in the home, and that women, as the mothers and caregivers, were crucial towards teaching and raising their children to be good citizens of the Republic.

The French Revolutionary government felt that women should receive only a Domestic education; enough education to run a household. Geroges Danton shared this idea.
